إلا هي هامت وطافت أنحاء المعمورة
ولم تجد لها وطن ياويها يحتضنها يداوي
جروحها من مشوار الطريق الطويل الذي
أنهكها روح تأن ولا أحد يستشعر انينها
الخافت وصراخها الصامت ذبلت وباتت
كورقت خريف اذرتها الرياح هنا وهناك.
